Target Information
Cubilin (CUBN) acts as a receptor for intrinsic factor–vitamin B12 complexes and contains 27 CUB domains. It is located within the epithelium of the intestine and kidney. Mutations in CUBN may be associated with autosomal recessive megaloblastic anemia.
