Target Information
Dicer는 이중가닥 RNA(dsRNA) 엔도리보뉴클레이스로, 짧은 dsRNA 매개 전사 후 유전자 침묵(post-transcriptional gene silencing)에 핵심적인 역할을 합니다.
긴 dsRNA 및 pre-miRNA를 절단하여 21–23 뉴클레오타이드 길이의 siRNA 및 성숙 miRNA를 생성합니다.
생성된 siRNA 및 miRNA는 RNA-induced silencing complex(RISC)를 유도하여 상보적인 RNA를 분해하거나 번역을 억제합니다.
RNA 간섭(RNA interference)은 반복적 DNA 요소 및 외래 바이러스 RNA의 제거를 조절하며, miRNA 경로는 특정 유전자 발현 조절에 기여합니다.
