Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The GGT5 gene encodes gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase enzymes composed of heavy and light chains. This enzyme hydrolyzes the gamma-glutamyl moiety of glutathione and converts leukotriene C4 to leukotriene D4, but does not convert synthetic substrates commonly used to assay gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
