This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
This antibody has specificity for Mouse B7-H3/CD276.
Target Information
CD276 (B7-H3) is a member of the B7 family of co-stimulatory molecules and functions as a type I transmembrane protein. It induces proliferation of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, enhances cytotoxic T cell generation, and selectively stimulates interferon gamma production.
Expression of CD276 can be induced on dendritic cells and monocytes by inflammatory cytokines and is also found in peripheral tissues such as the heart, kidney, testis, and colon.
In humans, CD276 exists as two isoforms resulting from gene duplication and differential splicing. It has therapeutic potential for regulating cell-mediated immune responses to cancer, especially in combination with anti-angiogenic therapy.
