Flanvotumab은 TYRP1을 표적으로 하는 바이오시밀러 항체입니다. TYRP1 유전자는 멜라노솜 효소를 암호화하며, 티로시나제 계열에 속합니다. 이 효소는 멜라닌 생합성 경로에서 중요한 역할을 하며, 해당 유전자의 결함은 rufous oculocutaneous albinism 및 oculocutaneous albinism type III를 유발합니다.
