Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
This gene encodes a protein involved in G protein–mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling cascades. Overexpression in mammalian cells can suppress RAS- and MAPK-mediated signaling and interfere with JNK activity, indicating a role in signal repression. The encoded protein is an integral subunit of the NCOR1-HDAC3 complex, which inhibits JNK activation and may provide a mechanism for hormone-mediated antagonism of AP1 function.
