Target Information
Formin-like protein 1 (FRL1) gene encodes a formin-related protein involved in morphogenesis, cytokinesis, and cell polarity. Formins are conserved proteins in eukaryotes with DAD, FH2, and GBD/FH3 domains. FRL1 is cytoplasmic and highly expressed in spleen, lymph node, and bone marrow cells, potentially regulating cell motility, macrophage survival, and cytoskeletal organization.
