For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

UBXN2B (UBX domain-containing protein 2B), also known as NSFL1 cofactor p37 or p97 cofactor p37, is a 331 amino acid protein containing one UBX domain and one SEP domain.
UBXN2B is required for endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and Golgi biogenesis, maintenance during interphase, and reassembly at the end of mitosis.
Through its interaction with VCP, UBXN2B forms a complex with membrane fusion activity.
It acts as an adapter protein essential for Golgi and ER organization, with membrane fusion activity requiring USO1-GOLGA2 tethering and BET1L.
VCPIP1 is also required, though its deubiquitinating activity is not essential.
