Target Information
Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. These antibodies are useful in the detection, sorting, or purification of mouse immunoglobulins. Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility, enabling the use of various detection systems such as HRP, AP, or fluorescence. They also enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Most secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species. They can be further purified and modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
