The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
CHST6 is a sulfotransferase that utilizes 3′-phospho-5′-adenylyl sulfate (PAPS) as a sulfonate donor to catalyze the transfer of sulfate to position 6 of non-reducing N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) residues of keratan. It mediates sulfation of keratan in the cornea, contributing to corneal transparency. The enzyme acts on non-reducing terminal GlcNAc residues of short and long carbohydrate substrates with poly-N-acetyllactosamine structures.
