This SPRCL5 monoclonal antibody reacts with Mouse CD185 (CXCR5), also known as Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR1).
CXCR5 is a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor expressed on B cells, CD4+ T cells, and memory T cells.
It plays a critical role in lymphocyte trafficking and follicular helper T cell identification.

• Fixation: SPRCL5 does not recognize formaldehyde-fixed epitopes; stain before fixation.
• Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
• Applications Tested: Mouse splenocytes, ≤ 0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume).
• Recommended Titration: Optimize empirically for best assay performance.

PerCP-eFluor® 710 replaces PE-Cy5, PE-Cy5.5, or PerCP-Cy5.5.
Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 710 nm; Laser: Blue.
Suggested filters: 685 LP dichroic mirror + 710/40 band pass (or 695/40 alternative).
Stable when exposed to 2% formaldehyde overnight at 4°C.
Post-manufacturing filtered at 0.2 µm.

Target Information

CXCR5 (C-X-C Chemokine Receptor Type 5, CD185) belongs to the CXC chemokine receptor family and is a G protein-coupled receptor for chemokine BLC.
It is expressed in Burkitt’s lymphoma, lymphatic tissues, spleen, and lymph nodes, and plays a key role in B cell migration.
CXCR5 is found in various human and animal tissues including blood, bone marrow, brain, liver, lymph node, spleen, and tonsil.
GPCRs, including CXCR5, are major signaling molecules with broad physiological and pharmacological relevance.
