Target Information
HSV는 헤르페스바이러스과(Herpesviridae)에 속하는 바이러스로, HSV-1과 HSV-2는 각각 인간에게 광범위하게 전염됩니다. HSV-1은 주로 구강 포진을, HSV-2는 생식기 포진을 유발합니다. 감염된 사람이 바이러스를 배출할 때 전파되며, 바이러스 입자는 캡시드와 외피에 싸인 이중가닥 선형 DNA 게놈을 포함합니다. HSV는 70개 이상의 개방 읽기틀(ORFs)을 가지며, 알츠하이머병과의 연관성도 보고된 바 있습니다.
