Target Information
TNFAIP8L2 (TIPE2) — Tumor necrosis factor alpha-induced protein 8-like protein 2 acts as a negative regulator of innate and adaptive immunity by maintaining immune homeostasis. It inhibits Toll-like receptor and T-cell receptor functions, prevents hyperresponsiveness of the immune system, and promotes Fas-induced apoptosis. TIPE2 also inhibits JUN/AP1 and NF-κB activation.
