Target Information
Nop56p is a yeast nucleolar protein that forms a complex with Nop58p and fibrillarin, essential for assembly of the 60S ribosomal subunit and involved in pre-rRNA processing.
NOL5A, similar in sequence to Nop56p, is also found in the nucleolus. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified, though most full-length forms remain undetermined.
