Antibody detects endogenous levels of total IVNS1ABP.
Target Information
IVNS1ABP is a protein coding gene involved in many cellular functions, including pre-mRNA splicing, the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) pathway, F-actin organization, and protein ubiquitination.
It stabilizes actin filaments by associating with F-actin through Kelch repeats, protecting cells from actin destabilization-induced cell death.
Functions as a modifier of the AHR pathway, increasing AHR concentration available for transcription activation.
Acts as a negative regulator of the BCR(KLHL20) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, preventing proteolysis of tumor suppressors PML and DAPK1.
Inhibits pre-mRNA splicing in vitro.
During microbial infection, IVNS1ABP participates in alternative splicing of influenza A virus M1 mRNA via interaction with HNRNPK, facilitating generation of viral M2 protein.
