Target Information
SPHK2는 SPHK1과 함께 sphingosine을 인산화하여 sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P)를 생성하는 효소입니다. S1P는 G-단백질 결합 수용체를 통해 다양한 세포 신호 과정을 조절하며, 세포 생존, 이동, 분화, 세포사멸 등의 기능에 관여합니다.
SPHK2는 세포 내외 신호 조절에 중요한 역할을 하며, 암 치료를 위한 잠재적 표적 단백질로 연구되고 있습니다. 또한 S1P 수용체(S1P1–S1P5)는 여러 G 단백질과 결합하여 심장 발생, 혈관 성숙, 면역세포 이동, 신경계 및 골세포 기능 조절 등 폭넓은 생리학적 과정에 관여합니다.
