Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional round of desalting (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The AKR1A1 gene encodes a member of the aldo/keto reductase superfamily, which includes over 40 known enzymes and proteins. Also known as aldehyde reductase, it reduces biogenic and xenobiotic aldehydes and is expressed in nearly all tissues. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist, all encoding the same protein.
