Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
To use this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, perform another round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The SEC14L2 gene encodes a cytosolic lipid-binding protein related to Sec14p, alpha-tocopherol transfer protein, and cellular retinol-binding protein.
This protein stimulates squalene monooxygenase, a downstream enzyme in the cholesterol biosynthetic pathway.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
