Target Information
PCNA (polymerase delta auxiliary protein)은 DNA 복제에 필수적인 단백질로, DNA 절제 및 불일치 복구 경로에 관여합니다.
CDK 억제제 p21, 절단효소 Fen1 및 XPG, DNA methyltransferase (MCMT)와 결합하며, 세포 증식 상태를 평가하는 지표로 유용합니다.
PCNA는 G1 및 S기 세포에서 핵 내에 존재하며, DNA polymerase delta의 보조 인자로 작용하여 DNA 복제 효율을 높입니다.
DNA 손상 시에는 ubiquitination을 통해 RAD6 의존적 DNA 복구 경로에 참여합니다.
두 가지 전사 변이가 보고되었으며, 염색체 4번과 X 염색체에 유사유전자가 존재합니다.
