Target Information
Epidermal growth factor-like protein 7 (EGFL7), also known as VE-statin, MEGF7, Notch4-like protein or Zneu1, is a 29.6 kDa protein produced and secreted by endothelial cells. The protein is also expressed by some normal and malignant tissues. The main function of EGFL7 is to regulate angiogenesis and vasculogenesis. High levels of EGFL7 can be found in tissues with active angiogenesis associated with various disorders.
