Target Information
HOPX는 DNA 결합을 하지 않는 비정형 홈도메인 단백질로, 심장 성장과 발달 조절에 필수적인 역할을 합니다. SRF와의 상호작용을 통해 SRF 의존적 심장 특이 유전자 발현을 조절하며, SRF의 DNA 결합 억제 또는 히스톤 탈아세틸화 효소(HDAC) 단백질을 모집하여 전사를 억제합니다. HOPX 과발현은 심근비대를 유발하며 종양 억제 인자로 작용할 수 있습니다.
