Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Prothrombin (Coagulation factor II) is proteolytically cleaved to form thrombin in the first step of the coagulation cascade, which results in the prevention of blood loss. F2 also contributes to maintaining vascular integrity during development and postnatal life. Mutations in F2 can lead to various forms of thrombosis and dysprothrombinemia.
