- A 1:100 dilution of MA5-45743 was sufficient for detection of Kir6.1 in 20 µg of mouse brain lysate by ECL immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
- Detects approximately 45 kDa.
- This antibody was formerly sold as clone S366-60.

KCNJ8 is an integral membrane protein and inward-rectifier type potassium channel.
It allows potassium to flow preferentially into a cell rather than out of it and is controlled by G-proteins.
