Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The ATL1 protein is a GTPase and a Golgi body transmembrane protein. It can form a homotetramer and interacts with spastin and mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase kinase 4 (MAP4K4). This protein may play a role in axonal maintenance, and mutations in the ATL1 gene are associated with spastic paraplegia type 3. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been identified.
