Target Information
DR5 (Apo2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, KILLER)는 TRAIL에 의해 유도되는 세포사멸(apoptosis)을 매개하는 TNF 수용체 초가족의 일원입니다. DR5는 세포 내 death domain을 포함하며, TNFSF10/TRAIL/APO-2L에 의해 활성화되어 apoptosis 신호를 전달합니다.
FADD 결핍 마우스 연구에서 FADD 단백질이 DR5 매개 세포사멸에 필수적임이 밝혀졌습니다. DR5는 다양한 세포 유형에서 발현되며, 특히 림프구와 비장에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
DR5의 기능 이상은 편평세포암(squamous cell carcinoma) 및 diffuse infiltrative lymphocytosis syndrome과 관련이 있습니다.
