This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, mouse, porcine, and rat based on sequence homology.
It has been tested in Peptide ELISA with an antibody detection limit dilution of 1:16,000.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a component of the exocyst complex, which plays a critical role in vesicular trafficking and the secretory pathway by targeting post-Golgi vesicles to the plasma membrane.
It is required for assembly and docking of the exocyst complex and may also participate in pre-mRNA splicing through interactions with pre-mRNA-processing factor 19.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed, and a pseudogene is located on the long arm of chromosome 4.
