Target Information

Actin-like 7B 단백질은 conventional actins와 높은 아미노산 서열 유사성을 가지는 actin-related protein(ARP) 계열에 속합니다. ATP-binding cleft를 포함한 actin fold 구조를 가지며, 세포 내 수송, 방추체 방향성, 핵 이동, 크로마틴 리모델링 등 다양한 세포 과정에 관여합니다. ACTL7B 유전자는 ACTL7A와 함께 9q31 영역에 위치하며, 두 유전자는 intronless 형태로 약 4 kb 간격으로 head-to-head 방향으로 배열되어 있습니다. ACTL7B는 주로 고환에서 발현되며, 정확한 기능은 아직 명확히 밝혀지지 않았습니다.
