Product Specific Information
- Reconstitution: 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
- Ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.

Target Information
Neuregulin 2 (NRG2) is a member of the neuregulin family of growth and differentiation factors. Through interaction with ErbB family receptors, NRG2 promotes growth and differentiation of epithelial, neuronal, glial, and other cell types. The gene consists of 12 exons and shares structural similarity with neuregulin 1 (NRG1). NRG1 and NRG2 mediate distinct biological processes by acting at different sites and eliciting different cellular responses. The gene is located near the region associated with demyelinating Charcot–Marie–Tooth disease but is not responsible for the disorder. Alternative transcripts encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
