Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

cAMP is a signaling molecule critical for various cellular functions. It activates cAMP-dependent protein kinase (AMPK), which transduces signals through phosphorylation of target proteins. The inactive holoenzyme of AMPK consists of two regulatory and two catalytic subunits. Upon activation, cAMP causes dissociation into regulatory dimers and free catalytic monomers.
The PRKAR2A gene encodes one of the regulatory subunits that can be phosphorylated by the catalytic subunit and may interact with A-kinase anchoring proteins, determining subcellular localization of AMPK.
