Target Information
SUPT4H1은 DRB sensitivity-inducing factor complex (DSIF complex)의 구성요소로, RNA polymerase II에 의한 mRNA 처리와 전사 신장을 조절합니다.
DSIF는 mRNA guanylyltransferase (RNGTT/CAP1A) 활성을 자극하여 mRNA 캡핑을 촉진하며, NELF complex와 함께 전사 일시정지를 강화합니다.
이 과정은 RNA polymerase II의 전사 신장 복합체 형성을 돕고, TFIIS/S-II의 작용을 억제하여 전사 조절에 관여합니다.
또한 DSIF는 HIV-1 Tat에 의해 유도되는 전사 신장 활성화에 필수적이며, HIV-1 LTR 전사에서 조기 종료를 방지합니다.
