Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of ~1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Dapper homolog 1 (DACT1) is an ortholog of Xenopus Dpr that antagonizes Wnt signaling by promoting Dvl degradation via a lysosome inhibitor-sensitive mechanism.
It interacts with Dvl through the DEP domain and the central/C-terminal regions of DACT1.
The human DACT1 gene is localized on chromosome 14q23.1 and regulates CTNNB1/beta-catenin degradation, enhancing Wnt pathway transcriptional activation.
DACT1 is essential for normal notochord formation and is downregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). It is expressed in liver and other tissues.
