Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
ERCC1 is a non-catalytic component of a structure-specific DNA repair endonuclease responsible for the 5′-incision during DNA repair.
In conjunction with SLX4, it plays a key role in the repair of interstrand cross-links (ICL) and participates in processing anaphase bridge-generating DNA structures.
ERCC1 is also required for homology-directed repair (HDR) of DNA double-strand breaks, working together with SLX4.
