Target Information
MAP3K5 (ASK1)는 세린/트레오닌 키나아제로, 인간의 심장과 췌장에서 풍부하게 발현되며 다양한 세포외 자극(사이토카인, 성장인자, 환경적 스트레스)에 의해 활성화됩니다. ASK1은 두 가지 MAPKK 하위군인 MKK4와 MKK6을 활성화하여 각각 JNK와 p38 MAP kinase를 활성화시킵니다. TNFR과 Fas 신호 경로를 통해 TRAF 패밀리 단백질 및 Daxx와 상호작용하여 활성화되며, 과발현 시 세포자멸사를 유도합니다. 인간 및 마우스 조직 전반에서 발현이 확인되었습니다.
