Target Information
CD40 항원은 종양괴사인자/신경성장인자 수퍼패밀리에 속하는 단일 사슬 당단백질로, Hodgkin 병 관련 항원 CD30과 높은 상동성을 보입니다.
CD40은 형질세포를 제외한 모든 B 세포, 일부 상피세포, 암세포 및 림프구 수지상세포에서 발현됩니다.
이 단백질은 T 세포 의존성 면역글로불린 클래스 전환, 기억 B 세포 발달, 생식 중심 형성과 같은 면역 및 염증 반응 매개에 필수적입니다.
CD40의 발현은 AT-hook 전사인자 AKNA에 의해 조절되며, TNFR2 어댑터 단백질과 상호작용하여 신호전달을 매개합니다.
또한 CD40과 그 리간드의 상호작용은 알츠하이머병 병리의 초기 사건으로 여겨지는 아밀로이드-베타 유도 미세아교세포 활성화에 필요합니다.
CD40 기능 이상은 Type 3 Hyper-IgM 면역결핍증 및 CD40 리간드 결핍증과 관련이 있습니다.
