Target Information

CAMK1D (CaMK1 delta) is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase family.
It is expressed in polymorphonuclear leukocytes and may play a role in chemokine signal transduction regulating granulocyte function.
CAMK1D may also be involved in modulation of neuronal apoptosis.
The calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase 1D-beta isoform exhibits Ca²⁺/CaM-dependent activity, and CAM-Kkalpha upregulates CAMK1D-b activity through phosphorylation at Thr180.
