Target Information
CENPF 유전자는 centromere-kinetochore 복합체와 결합하는 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 G2기 동안 핵 기질의 구성 요소로 존재하며, 후기 G2기에는 kinetochore에 결합하고 초기 anaphase까지 그 결합을 유지합니다. 이후 spindle midzone 및 intracellular bridge에 위치하며, telophase 후 분해되는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 이러한 위치 특성은 세포 분열 중 염색체 분리에 중요한 역할을 할 가능성을 시사합니다. 또한 이 단백질은 homo- 또는 heterodimer를 형성할 수 있으며, 암 또는 graft-versus-host 질환 환자에서 해당 단백질에 대한 자가항체가 발견된 바 있습니다.
