Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature (RT).
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.
Target Information
Bcl-6 proto-oncogene product (a Kruppel-type zinc-finger protein) is mainly expressed in normal germinal center B cells and related lymphomas.
Bcl-6 is involved in chromosome rearrangements at 3q27 in non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas, and rearrangements have been detected in 33–45% of diffuse large B cell lymphomas.
Immunohistochemical detection of Bcl-6 has been reported in follicular lymphomas, diffuse large B cell lymphomas, Burkitt’s lymphomas, and nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin’s disease.
