Target Information
LIPG (Lipase G, Endothelial type)은 내피세포에서 합성되는 새로운 형태의 리파아제(Lipase)로, 지질대사 조절에 중요한 역할을 하는 단백질입니다. LIPG는 HDL 콜레스테롤 수준 조절과 관련이 있으며, 과발현 시 HDL 감소를, 결핍 시 HDL 증가를 유도합니다. 또한, 인지질분해효소 활성을 가지며, 혈관 생물학 및 지질대사에 관여합니다. LIPG는 TG lipase family에 속하며, 특유의 lid 구조를 통해 기질 특이성을 갖습니다. 이 효소는 고밀도 지단백을 가수분해하고, 중성지방을 유화하며, 식이 지방의 소화에 필수적입니다.
