Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation and mediates crosstalk between adiponectin and insulin signaling pathways. It binds multiple proteins including RAB5A, DCC, AKT2, PIK3CA, adiponectin receptors, and NuRD/MeCP1 complex proteins. It is associated with endosomal membranes and can translocate to the nucleus upon EGF stimulation.
