Dolichol-phosphate mannose (Dol-P-Man)는 소포체(ER) 내강 측면에서 만노실 잔기의 공여체로 작용합니다. Dol-P-Man이 결핍되면 GPI-anchored 단백질의 표면 발현이 결함을 일으킵니다. Dol-P-Man은 GDP-mannose와 dolichol-phosphate로부터 소포체 세포질 측면에서 dolichyl-phosphate mannosyltransferase에 의해 합성됩니다. 이 유전자가 인코딩하는 단백질은 dolichyl-phosphate mannosyltransferase 복합체의 안정화 서브유닛으로 작용합니다.
