Target Information
MATK (Hyl) is a non-receptor CSK-type protein tyrosine kinase that functions in signal transduction pathways important in megakaryocyte growth and differentiation. It plays a role in hematopoietic cell signaling, phosphorylating and inactivating Src family kinases, and may inhibit T-cell proliferation. It might also be involved in signaling in certain cases of breast cancer.
