Mammaglobin은 정상 유방 상피 및 유방암 조직에서 거의 독점적으로 발현되는 유전자입니다. Secretoglobin 유전자 패밀리에 속하며 lipophilin B와 이합체를 형성합니다. Mammaglobin은 유방암 연구에서 유용한 바이오마커로 제안되었으며, 혈액 내 순환 암세포에서 RT-PCR로 검출 시 높은 특이성을 보입니다. 또한 림프절 전이 등 예후 인자와의 상관성이 보고되었습니다.
