Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The PARN gene encodes a 3′-exoribonuclease related to the RNase D family, preferentially degrading poly(A) tails of mRNAs. This degradation is typically the first step in eukaryotic mRNA decay. PARN is also involved in maternal mRNA silencing during oocyte maturation and early embryonic development, as well as in nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD). Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified.
