Target Information
SYNC 유전자는 intermediate filament 계열에 속하는 단백질을 암호화하며, N-말단 head domain, 중앙 coiled-coil 영역, 짧은 C-말단 tail을 포함합니다. 이 단백질은 골격근과 심근에서 높게 발현되며, 근육 내 dystrophin-associated protein complex(DAPC)를 desmin filament에 연결하여 근육 구조적 안정성에 기여합니다. 다양한 isoform을 암호화하는 여러 전사체 변이체가 보고되었습니다.
