This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to prevent contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Vesicle-associated membrane protein-associated protein B/C (VAPB) is encoded by the VAPB gene on human chromosome 20.
It is a type IV membrane protein located in plasma and intracellular vesicle membranes, existing as homodimers or heterodimers with VAPA.
VAPB interacts with VAMP1 and VAMP2 and may play a role in vesicle trafficking.
