Target Information

Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also known as B7-H1) is a B7 family member that interacts with PD-1, a receptor that negatively regulates T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. PD-L1 engagement decreases TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 is abundantly expressed on many murine and human cancers and can be further upregulated by IFN-γ stimulation, suggesting a role in tumor immune evasion.
