Product Specific Information
Each lot’s sensitivity is confirmed by ELISA, and specificity is verified by immunoelectrophoresis (IEP).
Rehydrate with 1.1 mL of deionized water and stand for 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve. (Product is overfilled to ensure complete recovery.) Centrifuge to remove particulates. Prepare fresh working dilution daily.
Store lyophilized material at 2–8°C. For long-term storage after reconstitution, dilute with 50% glycerol and store at -20°C as a liquid.
Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin hamster serum immunoglobulins.
Target Information
Anti-Hamster secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for hamster immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of specific targets. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity by enabling use of various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification.
Typically, secondary antibodies are produced by immunizing the host with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation) to generate highly specific reagents.
