Product Specific Information
- Antibody is tested in direct ELISA.
- For Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris Buffer with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
CD137 (TNFRSF9, 4-1BB) is an inducible costimulatory molecule expressed mainly on activated T cells. Its ligand, 4-1BBL, is present on activated macrophages, mature B cells, hematopoietic stem cells, and myeloid progenitor cells. CD137 signaling supports the survival and expansion of activated and memory T cells, while modulating myelopoiesis and dendritic cell development. Activation of CD137 induces cytokine release that regulates peripheral monocyte survival. Soluble forms of CD137 may act as negative regulators in immune responses.
