This protein plays a role in assembling an actin filament-associated complex essential for ret/ptc2 mitogenic signaling. It likely functions as an adapter, localizing LIM-binding proteins to actin filaments in both skeletal and nonmuscle tissues. Multiple transcript variants arise from alternative splicing.
