Target Information
ATP5S (ATP synthase subunit, mitochondrial) is a 215 amino acid inner membrane protein of the mitochondrial ATP synthase complex. It plays a crucial role in H⁺ conduction and energy transduction within ATP synthase complexes. The ATP5S gene is conserved across multiple species including chimpanzee, canine, bovine, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, and mosquito, and maps to human chromosome 14q21.3.
